StartByLearning, LLC, doing business as Call4Close ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting the privacy of the individuals who use our Service ("Users") and the third-party members of the public who interact with the Service ("Customers"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information the Company collects, how it is used, how it is protected, and the rights available to individuals whose information we hold.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Call4Close website (the "Site"), the Call4Close missed-call capture and response platform (the "Service"), and all SMS and text message communications facilitated through the Service. By using the Site or the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
1.1 Information Collected from Users (Realtors)
When a licensed real estate professional registers for the Service, the Company collects:
- Full name
- Business email address
- Business phone number
- Real estate license number and state of licensure
- Brokerage name and address
- Payment and billing information (processed through a third-party payment processor; the Company does not store full card numbers)
- Account login credentials
1.2 Information Collected from Customers (Callers)
When a member of the public calls a User's forwarded number and a missed-call event occurs, the Platform may collect:
- Mobile phone number of the caller
- Date and time of the call
- The content of any SMS or text message replies sent by the caller to the Platform
- Device and carrier information transmitted automatically by the mobile network
The Company collects Customer information solely in the context of the User's inbound real estate inquiry handling. The Company does not independently solicit or market to Customers.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically (Website)
When you visit the Call4Close website, the Company and its service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring URL
- Cookie identifiers (subject to your cookie consent preferences)
How We Use Information
2.1 User Information
The Company uses User information to:
- Create and manage User accounts
- Deliver, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process subscription payments and manage billing
- Send account-related communications (service updates, billing notices, support responses)
- Enforce the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
2.2 Customer Information
The Company uses Customer information to:
- Facilitate the missed-call capture and text message response process on behalf of the User
- Log and store inbound inquiry records for the User's business use
- Honor opt-out requests and maintain opt-out suppression lists
- Fulfill compliance obligations under applicable telecommunications law
2.3 Website Analytics
Automatically collected website data is used for:
- Analyzing site traffic and usage patterns
- Improving the Site's functionality and content

How Phone Numbers Are Collected and Used
The Company collects mobile phone numbers in the following ways:
- From Users — at account registration, as part of account setup
- From Customers — automatically when a Customer calls a User's forwarded number and a missed-call event is recorded by the Platform
Phone numbers collected through the Service are used only to:
- Deliver a text message response to the Customer on behalf of the User's real estate business
- Capture and log the inbound inquiry for the User
- Honor opt-out requests (STOP keyword) and maintain suppression records
Phone numbers are not used for marketing, advertising, or outbound solicitation unrelated to the specific inbound inquiry that generated the contact.
How We Share Information
4.1 No Sale or Marketing Sharing
The Company does not sell, rent, lease, or share User registration data or Customer phone numbers or interaction data with any third party for marketing, advertising, or commercial solicitation purposes.
This is an absolute commitment. The Company will not share:
- User contact or brokerage information for third-party marketing
- Customer phone numbers obtained through the Platform for third-party marketing
- SMS conversation content for third-party advertising purposes
4.2 Service Delivery — Third-Party Providers
To operate the Service, the Company works with third-party technology and infrastructure providers. These providers may process certain data (such as phone numbers and message content) solely for the purpose of transmitting communications between the Platform and end-user devices. Such providers are contractually restricted from using data for any purpose other than service delivery.
The identities of specific Third-Party Providers are proprietary to the Company. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies and terms, which are separate from this Policy.
4.3 Legal Requirements
The Company may disclose information where required by law, court order, regulatory authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, its Users, or the public.
4.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of the Company's assets, User and Customer data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same privacy commitments set forth in this Policy.
SMS Messaging — Specific Disclosures
In connection with the Call4Close SMS messaging program, the following disclosures apply:
- What messages are sent: Text messages are sent to Customers on behalf of Users when a missed call occurs. Messages are related solely to the User's real estate business and the Customer's inbound inquiry.
- Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on inbound call and reply activity. The Company does not send recurring marketing messages to Customers.
- Message and data rates: Standard carrier message and data rates may apply to messages sent and received.
- Opt-out: Customers may stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. A one-time opt-out confirmation will be sent, and no further messages will follow.
- Help: Customers may reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact the Company at help@call4close.com.
- No third-party marketing sharing: Phone numbers and message data collected through the SMS program are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Company uses cookies and similar technologies on its website. A cookie preference banner is displayed upon the first visit to the Site, and Users may accept, reject, or customize cookie categories at any time.

Data Security

Users and Customers transmit data to the Company at their own risk. Data Retention
The Company retains User account data for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period following account termination, consistent with applicable legal, regulatory, and business requirements. Customer interaction data (including phone numbers and message logs) is retained as needed for compliance, dispute resolution, and internal business operations. Upon written request, the Company will make commercially reasonable efforts to delete personal data where no legal obligation to retain it applies.
Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal information the Company holds about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal retention requirements

The Company reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Users will be notified of material changes via the registered email address on file or through a notice on the Site. Continued use of the Service following the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
